Bristol Community College - Adult Basic Education Program

Funded by a grant from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, this free of cost program serves adults ages 16 years or older who seek to strengthen their academic skills and/or earn a GED for employment, education, future training, or personal achievement . The Fall River ABE Program is one of several literacy activities offered through Bristol Community College. All programs seek to provide learners with an opportunity to gain the basic skills and credential necessary to achieve their personal goals.

The Fall River ABE Program also offers training and support for individuals who are seeking a volunteer experience working with adult literacy students. For more information about volunteering as a literacy tutor, please contact one of our coordinators at (508)678-2811 x 2042.
